The music video shows contrast between when Mac Miller was a really young kid and to now. played live bass on it, and that was really all. I was messing with it in the studio that day and heard it. I might’ve sampled it in 2005, or something. Mac’s collaborator Big Jerm provided background information about the track: It was recorded on two different instrumentals, both of which were produced by ID Labs, that started and ended the mixtape Best Day Ever. No matter what, just trying to capture a happy and positive vibe to a situation. It’s a real trippy vibe to it and it’s supposed to be an epic introduction to get you ready to listen to everything.
